Easty why don't you do what I do, and get a little runabout?easty027 said:...the question is do i change or is this just a fad that will pass ?. im only 32 (30 is the new 20 by the way) so im no old-timer, but i think i have been converted to comfort over go-kart impracticality already!
If you want comfort on the daily drive then I get the same feeling in my 1.2 Micra as you have had, no worries about potholes, skinny 70 profile tyres, plastic wheel trims, bouncy suspension, noddy-car visibility, everyone lets you pull into spaces. You don't need a big 4x4 to have that. I've only washed it twice in 2 years
I'll have had my SLK 3 years in July, just renewed the warranty and got an MOT so keeping it for another year, I imagine I will have keep it for four years or slightly longer by the time I do part with it. A lot of the reason I still love it is down to the Micra, it keeps the SLK special.
