Driving with broken spring ?

I have a broken spring on drivers side rear on my Coupe. To make matters worse I can't get it fixed for a week.
Will I be ok to drive carefully, mainly low speed city driving.
Any ideas ?

Some people drive them undiagnosed for ages. I wouldn't do it personally, but plenty of people do. (if that is any help)

I drove on mine for a few days as I had no choice. Although my brother who is a mechanic did not like the idea as it may have put extra strain (sharp broken edge of spring) on the spring holder. Just take it easy.

Depends where it is broken aswell and how much of the spring is missing. If it is just a small piece that has broken off and it still seats properly then I would say its ok to drive on but just take it easy and get it sorted as soon as possible.
