Driving whilst arm in cast

Oh I thought you were called Lee and you owned a farm.
Sorry to hear about your arm and issues working. Hope it heals quick. I suspect you know what the answer to your dilemma is.
 
I had the same issue after driving to A&E after dislocating my shoulder and getting it put back in at the side of the football park and playing on last 30 mins!! (Gaelic football not soccer).
I ended up in a full body stocking(not that type) from waist till neck.
It was funny in casualty when they asked how I got there and I told the I drove!!
I had a Clio Williams with a stage 2 engine conversion at the time and my mum had to drive it home with me in the passengers seat.
She bottled it driving and I bottled it too.
9 weeks with this bloody body cast on.
Funny looking back when young thinking you are invincible.
I now have arthritis in my shoulder and neck due to that injury!!! I'm only 40 tae!!!

Come on who else thought he was a farmer?
 
If it's of any use when my son broke a bone in his R wrist the Doc said he could drive if the insurance company were happy to maintain cover.
A simple call to the insurers followed and provided he could grip the wheel and the Doc said it was OK no problem for them either. They simply noted it on file and the status quo was restored.
Moral of the story, get medical permission then tell the insurance company. Simples

Ill give that a try...perhaps slip the old consultant a tenner :D
 
I drove when I broke my right wrist. I never even thought it might be an issue and just drove as normal.

I broke my ankle a few years ago and tried driving, that went less well. I drove the car through my fence into the bushes trying to get out of the drive so decided to leave it at that. :D
