Driving to work this morning and.....

So, Live in Bromley, Work in Medway,

I drive Sidcup bypass-M25-A2-A289

Just passed the McDonalds on the Bypass in the heavy as &*(^* rain and the wipers stop dead in the middle of the screen!!! :driving: :o


No hard shoulder!, I know that one's a couple miles further up the road

I see an accident directly ahead and have to slam on the brakes..

The car a couple ahead was on its roof with 3-4 other cars stopped..Middle of the inside lane!!

I managed to stop in time..Just..Wipers still in the middle of the screen.

I switched them to high and manually forced them back and forward!!
Must have been a blockage or a small something seized as after a couple of movements the started back up!!

No one was hurt in accident

I learned 1 thing!!
carry clean calvins, a pack of wet wipes and a sandwich bag in the glove box!!
 
Pleased for you that you did not get involved in that one.
Now strip and clean that wiper motor. :thumbsup:

For sure, It already has the signs of the wipers part way up the screen, which to me indicates that a tinkering needs to happen..

Just means I'll drive the Type r for a couple of days for work
