Driving into London tomorrow!

Thought about the train tonight but working split over 2 days is a hassle for tickets & car parks, so will probably drive again tonight. Getting there is no problem (a little awkward thorough Bank area but should have that nailed after yesterday) but coming home is a massive hassle. 1hr 10 going, 2hrs coming home after avoiding congestion charge.

What would you do, go via city (45 miles, 2hrs) or via M25 (80 miles, 2hrs)?

Hey just saw this. Depends what time of day? I tend to think road traffic and lights and junctions, no way. So if night time, like 2am, prob through Central London. Otherwise must take the path of least resistance, M25 if 6pm. Why?? Can't stand arses in jams and junctions so might as well do a relatively straight line even if further by a few miles.
