i was told by my driving instructor that going around the same roundabout more than 3 times was against the law.

not that i know anyone who's mental enough to do that.

Hands up... I admit I do this often on the way to work... the roundabout near Chertsey bridge if anyone knows it?

Queue is often 10 - 15 mins long with very few people in the right hand lane to turn right. I spin right around the roundabout then off left. Never push in if other drivers think I'm queue jumping (which some do - look at that knob in his Beemer thinking he owns the road probably ) but technically I'm not doing anything wrong except being a bit cheeky... I'm sure other will disgree tho

So you would support those truckers that block a lane as it is merging in a mile or so? According to this logic (i.e. I call it the sheep logic), you should join the queue at the end and not use all available road space ...

Support or not support, I don't actually care or worry about it, I pull in when its convenient to do so with as little stress to me as possible, sometimes I have to wait sometimes I don't, I try to be considerate to other motorists.

Unlike you, I just don't see the people who are queuing as sheep or retards, I just see people.

i do think some people lack common sense when they block roads by sitting in one lane, if there is others available, without doing anything illegal.

Big difference between A truck blocking a merge lane and people going up the right hand lane of a roundabout to turn left.

Ben G, Your post did not come across as humourous but actually sounded very arrogant, I appreciate now that it was not meant that way

I also believe that those going up the right lane to turn left are probably the cause of the tailback in the first place but just don't have the intelligence to realise it.

No,no,no you got it it all wrong. Those joining the queue are not smart enough to know there are different approaches, so they are in the correct lane for them. Those that are smart will obviously apply that smartness everywhere in their life and therefore will have a great job and deserve to get there quicker.
