The calling card here is the odd looking pattern on the hand side of the glove that are small patches of some very grippy material that has excellent grabbing power on the leather steering wheels of BMWs. A far better solution than a slippery leather glove in my book.
Not a heavy weight glove for top down driving in the high 30 degree F range but quite nice for high 30's low 40's top up (or coupe) driving.
How sad am I? I have an entire selection of driving gloves. The most recent ones are these, which I can highly recommend -- they are very well made and very comfortable. I also have a pair similar to these which I use in the summer as they are slightly cooler. I have a pair of these, too. They are great in winter, but look a bit old fashioned. Finally, for serious driving (mostly at the 'ring) I have a set of these in my 116i. They are very good. If you're even more serious, the serious 'ring nuts use these.
