Drives better after a wash?

Anyone else notice how their car seems to run and drive better after a good wash and polish? Mine sure seems to. Maybe it’s slipping through the air a little more easily… :P

Scientific fact that a clean car has a lower drag coefficient and therefore has a higher top speed and better mpg.

Just make sure you don't ruin it by fitting an un-aerodynamic stubby...

Are you sure you haven"t fitted a stuby by mistake. That would have a similar effect.

Make sure you give it an aerodynamic polish from front to back as that gives an extra 15 - 200 bhp.

I used a ceramic coating polish with two coats on the front bumper and hood, which should give an extra 15 bhp.

As measured on a static rolling road?
