Driver's window gone

when this happened to me,they tried everything to make it my fault,e.g. have you changed the window?has it been smashed before?????

but in the end got done under warranty :)
 
Glad it's covered under warranty; my driver's window failed out of AUC warranty and IIRC the bill was pushing £400.

As for coverage for the apparent previous repair; are you sure the items aren't covered? The AUC website says: -
The following are not covered by the BMW Approved Used Car Warranty: brake and clutch facings, discs and drums, bulbs (except Xenon), fuses, channels and guides, weather strips and seals, handles, hinges and check straps, trim upholstery and cosmetic finishes, wheels and tyres, wiper blades and arms, glass, auxiliary drive belts, coolant and fuel hoses, the cleaning and adjustment of any component and all service items or items that will require periodic replacement. Corrosion is also not covered by the warranty.

Doesn't seem to exclude door internals to me.
 
if the previous work was done under warranty,get a copy of all the previous warranty works carried out on your car;they should provide this to you with no questions.
