Drivers side wing.

Hi,
I've got a 2006 3.0 sport coupe and I had a very close altercation with a white van this morning.

I don't normaly post to this forum, but I've been a member for 4 years or so, so apologies for not introducing myself sooner..

But, I now have the question (After this mornings incident)..
Are the front wings on a coupe the same as those on a roadster?
Because I now have a 1ft long dinge in my drivers side front wing, and thought if they just bolt on and off, I could get one off Ebay rather than have a body shop repair it.

I'm in the Manchester area, what are peoples thoughts?

They have the same part numbers on the 'real oem' parts website :)

Sorry to hear about the incident, hope you get sorted soon.

Thanks for the replies, I can get a silver Roadster wing off Ebay for £90 or a silver grey wing from a breaker for £210.

So I now need to find out if repairing my wing would cost less than respraying the £90 one or even buying the £210 one.

I'm not too precious about my car saying that, it's nearly 10 years old, it's my daily driver, and I defy anyone not to drive agressively in one of these, so I'm taking it on the chin really... plus it's been at least 15 years since the last incident.

Yes they are the same. I bought one from a scrappy in my colour for £160. Took a paint meter with me to check paint was original and check for damage before parting with cash. Prices really seem to vary on ebay, but fixing the dent is going to be £200+ I would have thought.

As an aside, someone in my office said "Your lucky the other driver drove off, he could have beaten you to a pulp for driving like a w****r"
