Drivers side quarter electric window noise...

So today I have a new noise.. The rear window in the drivers side. It's making a subtle dunk dunk dunk noise when going up. Still silent going down. Realoem shows the motor and regulator to be a rather unusual design. Regulator on its way out? 6 years old and not a year goes by without some weird noise.

Do you think you might be a bit over sensitive to any noises etc because of your past history with the car :?

Well one window goes up and down silently and the other goes up with a donkey donk donk noise so you tell me?

I should have the Merc in the next week hopefully... Then the Z4 becomes a weekend keeper or a get shut pay of the Merc-er.
