Driver's Side Arm Rest

Hi,

I'm on my second Z4 now and i must have a very heavy right arm, as i've managed to rip both of the arm rests on the driver's side arm rest from leaning on them with my elbow while driving.

I've done a quick search and can't find anyone else with the same problem, however i'd imagine it is quite common considering i've done it to both of my Z4s.

Do you think i'd need to replace the whole rest or are this possible to fix, thanks in advance.

I bought my z4 last year with the same problem thinking that i would be able to get a second hand door card but they just don't come up for sale. I ended up buying some leather armrest covers from an american website and they just stick on to the door card.

A new door card will cost around £400

Thanks for the link... i'd like to repair the existing one so probably best to just get some new leather on it (if i can get the thing off the door :roll:
