Drivers Seat won’t go back .

I’m trying to remove the drivers seat to get a part number for the YAW sensor but will only go partway back not enough to give access to the front bolts .
Feels like it hits a sudden stop but can’t see anything blocking the rails .

As usual lads any advice very much appreciated, if anyone will know it will be on this Forum .

Just to add cleaned the seats up just waiting on paint to arrive for the bolsters .

If you look at the passenger side for reference you will see that in the outer rail, near the front, is a metal plate. If this is twisted it will stop the seat going fully back.
Regarding your yaw sensor, there are basically just two options, pre- or post-facelift.

Thanks I’ve checked the usual runners etc will check for it being twisted though good shout .

Ah ok it’s post face lift I need then , will still fix the seat though need it out anyway for the YAW sensor and my leg position.

Cheers

You need one of these then

Hope you have deep pockets

When you fit the new one, seal it in a poly bag with a sachet of silica gel for company.

You can’t be the only sympathetic member though Enuff -Zed. I’m in no rush the cars more like a project so quite happy fiddling away on it .

Are the pre face-lift version as expensive as well? Have a feeling mine is playing up...

Been getting this code. I changed the abs sensor today and its still happening, all three lights go off :headbang:
