Driver's Seat Height Adjustment Range

Hi,

New to this forum!

I'm considering purchase of a 2006 on E85 3.0 Si Roadster with electric seats and am keen to know the range of driver's seat height adjustment.

I know that I fit OK, 5'11" tall but my wife is 5'0". She's currently driving a NC Mazda MX5 and can get high enough and whilst she's not showing a whole heap of interest in Z4s right now, I am sure she will want to drive it once I've found the right one.

Any thoughts on whether the seat will go high enough would be much appreciated.

Sadly I don't know the answer to your question though as I'm 5'9". :roll:

Hopefully someone will be able to confirm it will be OK so you can get that Z4!

Welcome to the forum. Alas I am 6" 4" so unable to answer your question.

I sat my daughter in the car before I let her drive it and demonstrated how much bonnet was out of sight by moving my hand up along the bonnet until she said she could see it. I then told her to get out and take a look. There was over three feet of car beyond her vision. :wink: She enjoyed the drive thereafter. :driving:

i'm pretty sure she'll be fine - the electric seats can go almost hilariously high and hilariously close to the wheel :driving:

Electric seats definitely go high enough but if you’re very tall are not as low as manual, electric is nice if drivers are different sizes.

I am due to close out the sale of my current fun car in the next two weeks and, assuming all goes well, will be on the hunt for really nice post 2006 3.0Si Roadster.....
