I know there is many discussions on this.
My 2003 E85 (RHD) issue is that the drivers door won’t unlock with the remote. All other locks are functioning as they should. When the car is locked I press the unlock button on the remote once: no unlocking. Second press: passenger door, boot (trunk), petrol flap and cubby box between the seats unlock. To unlock the drivers door I have to insert the key into the door and turn it while lifting the exterior door handle. The inside lock button only partially comes up, if at all, and only comes fully up when using the interior door handle. Locking the car functions as it should with once press of the remote’s lock button ie the drivers door locks as it should. The same thing happens with using the interior lock/unlock button on the console: everything locks but drivers door won’t unlock.
When using the remote or interior unlock buttons you can hear/feel the door lock clunking but it doesn’t unlock. Is this most likely the drivers door lock/actuator itself?
