Drivers Door Dead Locked Shut

My remote central door locking problems are now compounded by the drivers door dead locking itself permantly shut!!

Anyone got any advice on how to get the drivers door open or removing the door card without destroying it to gain access to the lock and releasing it?

Both internal and external door handles/bowden cables do not release the door mechanisam, remote central locking not working but key still operates the locks.

It may not be your problem, but these cars hate a poor battery and suffer some strange electrical gremlins. It may be worth checking the battery :thumbsup:
 
Thanks I'll check it out over the weekend, funny you should mention battery gremlins as the battery went flat while it was parked up for 8 weeks and the airbag light came on after jump starting it - won't now go off - presume Z4's ECU's are not self diagnosing?
