Andy Walsh Car limmits
not track day training more save your life when you balls it up training
i will never forgett hitting the hard left turn at 65 mph steering with the tip of one finger (Andy's way of showing how little input is needed to get the car to do what you want) he takes no more than 4 cars for a full day you learn how to recognise and recover a tail spin, what slip angle is and how to feel and use it by both throttle and or steering wheel, if he thinks you are more advanced there is trail and left foot breaking to have a go at, the only damage you do is tyres and thats not bad. its better if you can get 4 cars the same as you have a better bench mark and the timed lap around the cone track at the end has more meaning
I could be interested to do it again this time in the Z4c, let me know if it firms up and when
Very true! I must have spun out a dozen times or more but by the end was turning in at about 90 and still making the line. Alot of fun and a huge amount to be learnt. Top fun
ZM again hitting the brakes on the turn so a slower exit. Good fun. That's off the indicator so probably nearer 80 too. To be honest I had as much fun driving "exuberantly" with lots of tyre smoke as I did trying to keep it tidy!
i know what you mean, i came away with a lot more respect for the cars abillity. One of the other drivers had arranged Event tyres for the end of the day so his tyres were not needed for the drive home, he let Andy show him how to burn rubber, he went round the cone track and if his front wheels did 10 mile his rears must have done 70, that man can drive 8)
