Driver training for new Z owner

Take your good lady off the insurance! haha!

My girlfriend wants to drive mine, but having a 'ropey' insurance history after driving into a parked merc in a car park and causing £3k damage (at 5mph!) I have taken the decision to say NO!

In all seriousness, i think driver training would be a good idea, but confidence is more the issue, once she's happy with it she will be fine! They are very forgiving unless you really push with the traction off!

Yeah, she says it was 5mph.. i have a niggling feeling it was a 'tad' over that... front off side alloy, sill, door, front wing, bonnet, lower suspension arm, spraying, wing mirror, etc etc.... probably got off lightly at 3k!

Reduces it? Nice... keep her on... just don't let her drive haha!

I'm sure your good lady will get comfy with it in time!

The traction control/DSC is set up quite conservatively in the Z4 coupe, so it will be difficult to do any silly things with the car as long as your lady does not turn it off .
