Driver door stuck :(

I believe the actuator on my e85 failed for a few days now. It’ll lock and unlock but just won’t open. I tried removing the door panels but can’t figure out anyways to get it to open :(
Could anyone please give me some tips on how to open it? In the attached picture you can see that I can see where it latches into the car but The space is just too small for me to try to open it…

In your photo, you can just see the cable that comes from the inner door handle.
Have you tried operating the lever that cable attaches to by hand?

Yes, I tried manually pressing down on that level and push door open but nothing. The cable also does it when I use the door handle so I believe there are no issues there
