Driver Door lock with key, what does yours do?

OK so did some work on the car yesterday which meant disconnecting the battery. I now have a few gremlins, namely my remote roof module doesn't work, nor can I raise the drivers window when locking the car using the key. I have a feeling this maybe linked to the GM5 module and the relays packing up.

About two years ago when it snowed the central locking failed giving typical GM5 module failing signals. However after then it's been fine but I guessed only a matter of time till total failure.

So my question is with the car unlocked if you use the key what does yours do, as mine only locks the driver door leaving the passenger door and filler cap unlocked.

I'm guessing this is also why my remote roof won't work as that is linked to the central locking.

Key locks everything, inc. px door and filler cap

If you hold key in closed position it closes windows (if open) and roof (if open) then opens bonnet, changes oil & spark plugs and tops up washer fluid... :wink:

Looks like I need to get my soldering iron out then :cry:
 
What happens if you try to lock it with the button on center console?
Mine was locking and unlocking all on it's own. One time I couldn't get in! :x
 
Key buttons and centre buttons all work fine. Might not be the DME. Will try a reboot next.
 
Looks like a reboot fixed it. Stangley the alarm went off when I disconnected the battery. Think my starting problem might be fixed to so guessing the whole imobiliser, Central locking and everything else was well and truly confused. :lol:
