drive shaft problem

Hi All,

Im new to the world of the z4, ive had my 2003, 2.5i for just 2 months and already i have problems!

Recently i noticed when accelrating hard in 2nd gear a vibration and noise comming up the drive shaft! friday night it got very loud!

Does any one know if this is a drive shaft problem, maybe a u joint i hear?

The sound seems to be under the gear shift!

Hi, thanks

i dont think so, it seems to be up the center of the underneath of the car!

its going into BMW this afternoon for them totake a look!

could be expensive!
 
sorry getting used to this site!

the vibrations and noise is comming from the underneath but up the middle of the car under the gear stick??
