Drive away locking

Does anyone know if you can turn the drive away locking off. The handbook tells you how for the idrive equipped cars but doesn't mention it for the ones without like mine. Is it a dealer job?

Fairly sure you can using the obc ,the display comes up between your rev and speed dials

If it does, I can't get it to come up. I can do service info, fuel range/consumption, dial brightness and date/time and thats it from the OBC. :x

As to the manual, it only gives info for the idrive not the OBC.

They've given you the wrong manual then. There is a manual for iDrive cars and a manual for non iDrive cars. Check the US manual, it may help;

Got it sorted......wrong manual and me being a dullard, pressing button 2 instead of button 1.
