Drinking more...?

Not proud by any means but I’m definately drinking more since isolation measures....the whole thing has a surreal feeling to it....anyone else taking each night like its a Friday...?

Yes, but not drinking tomorrow (said that for the last 2weeks)🥃🍷🍺🤪
What I’m saving on fuel I’m spending on booze

Not really here, just the one or two beers or a beer and a gin or any other spirits or wine and not really drinking any earlier. Stops us having to keep going to the shops for more supplies anyway

But all that said CHEERS TO YOU ALL

No that’s one thing I’m not doing starting earlier....bar isn’t open until 5pm no matter what.

Glad I’m not the only one so far.....

I’ve been trying to lose weight since December so I’m conscious of my alcohol intake, i do drink but try to keep it below 15/20 pints a night.
Rob

Definitely, but at least I'm not driving!

I think it's just boredom because every night has been Friday since I stopped working in 2015.

But I'll be having a night off on Thursday so I can take the Z to the shops on Friday as a birthday treat - and it may not be the nearest shop! :drinkwine:

Just a few mouthfuls then Bear..... :poke:

Not drinking Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday but the weather has been better recently and that’s definitely encouraged drinking. Weekends: the afternoon beer, g&t or aperol has been creeping earlier and earlier and then wine with cooking/dinner...

Not had alcohol since Friday 13th March, as I’m only a social drinker and rarely drink at home (e.g. birthdays, Christmas, New Year).

It’s a completely different case when I’m working away and I’m hotel bars every night :P

I have to keep to my normal weekly intake or it’ll screw up my inr (Blood clotting) and I don’t want to go to the surgery for a blood test.
The short answer is No!

Don’t touch a drop until wine o’clock (5pm), then a gentle spritzer followed by a glass of red while cooking dinner. Bar then shuts until 10pm for a large scotch before turning in.

Way over the guidelines I know, but difficult times and all that :)

Yes, count me in. Wife is tolerating me sloshing around house in the evenings rather well. :D Bless her heart

I only drink on days ending in 'y' .
Seriously, it has been a bit harder to resist but as I've been on call for half of this lockdown so far, I haven't really had a choice :( .
It's 5:10pm, the wife's got Eastenders on while cooking tea, so I'm sipping a Corona right now. Cheers.

Rob, you need to get back to school mate. Don't you remember you're supposed to reduce fractions to their lowest possible figures?
You carry on drinking your 3/4 pint every night.
