Drill stand

Perhaps the fellow members can recommend a drill stand which I want to permanently set up in the work shop.

I always have jobs to do, and as I have just finished the work shop I would like to get something permanently mounted in there.

Keep an eye on eBay, you can pick up some decent kit at very reasonable prices - normally from older blokes who are selling off their garage workshops (usually have to go and collect though)

That's the one I have, been using it regularly for some years and especially during two kit car builds. Now being used drill out broken bolts on alloy wheels.

the screwfix one is cheap enough to just buy. I would only spend more if really necessary.

Just curious - how on earth can you use it to drill out bolts from alloys ???
