Although the constant squeeling of tyres is horrible. It must do it in my RX7 but can't hear it over the top of the exhaust

Really? I know in the wet it's easy to slide, but figured in the dry it will just spin the inside wheel when you turn the dsc off?

In the Fifth Gear test video they had a 3.0i sideways.... guessing that was without a LSD

Would seem much faster and much less wear and tear on the car if one would just put a board nails up and run it over. Then you could tell the other half that a white van guy caused it.

I don't get drifting in general though. Unless one has a tire sponsor. Seems a rather unthrifty way to prove one's stupidity.
Why not just set it ablaze or drive it into a wall.

I have drifted my 3.0 easily in the wet and it is possible in the dry as well but sometimes like you say only one of the rear wheels will spin depends on the traction And also how tight ur trying to keep ya drift. But it is possible.
