Dream car at 22 so happy Z4 Coupe (E86) .

Welcome :thumbsup:

Do love an e86 although I'm a proud roadster owner myself... I also consider the z4 a dream car and know the feeling as I was 22 when I got mine.

Mod wise only you can decide but I'd recommend:

- 19" alloys with non runflats. I had 18" mv2's on mine with oem runflats and the 19's are so much more forgiving due to the tyres. For me it has to be 19's on a coupe.

- if it isn't lowered then a slight drop suits a zed.

- something to let the noise out... I went with a muffler delete with no regrets. Pop and bang galore. A lot of people reccomend a DLV backbox mod (do a search).

You'll have your own massive list in no time!

I really like the colour combination of that coupe - i've always been a fan of tan leather in a dark car.

Also, like the wheels you've mentioned but £2,500 before rubber!? Yoikes! I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on them.

Wrapping of dash parts is a nice economical fall back to change the look of the interior, though the carbon leather is lush!

Welcome! I wouldn't worry about the time it's been for sale, it's been too expensive, had some bad mods and I think it's an automatic? That's what put me off anyway when I saw it. What car have you moved to the Coupe from op?

Yeh, once those wheels have been cremated in the Crack of Doom in Mordor I think it will be awesome. What colour is that? Looks similar to Monaco Blue on mine.

What's your location/insurance like?

Was surprised with the insurance and tbh its the only reason I took the jump to get it. I was looking at a VW Scirroco and the insurance was higher than the E86 which shocked me.

Scirroco = £1800
E86 = £1250

wasn't a year, more like 6 months.

it was around when I bought my coupe back in november :) think it may have been up at 10k originally.

It was up when i sold my coupe last September too :)

ah right! I may have missed it then :) 7k is not a good price for the car :) just get it serviced and looked over properly and it should be fine.

How much would you say is a good price then??

Taz has been shirking his duties - welcome to the Exclsive Coupe Club on his behalf.
You have chosen wisely (so far), be interested to see how this pans out with your mods. Great colour but the wheels need flipping out. :thumbsup:
