Dreaded springs...

How do I know if I have the dreaded spring failure? I know my drivers side was replaced under warranty when I picked the car up and looking at my passenger side it dosent look right....

How do I upload pictures to show what I mean?
 
park level ground and measure the gap between the arches.

If one is broken they will be a difference between the two.

Of it you have 108 rims you can shine a torch through the spokes and look at the bottom of the spring for a break.
 
Yes I have a difference in ride height on the drivers side. Im guessing the spring has gone. Would that make it a little wobbly on the rear end? Over the past few mornings in the wet it almost feels like its going to let go..! This is one of many issues I have had with this car, didnt realise there was so much could go wrong on these things.

Still love it though! :D
 
OP, you aren't a proper Z owner unless a rear spring has broken :thumbsup:

Luck of the draw I think - 6 years of ownership from new and only had the springs replaced :)
 
I found the easiest way to check if the springs were gone was to take the wheel off and have a look :?
