Draughty transmission tunnel

 Mostly Holland. Sometimes UK.
Was driving back to Utrecht from Petten in the North of Holland today and noticed a cold draught coming into the cabin from the transmission tunnel. Not exactly a breeze-in-your face type draught but more an annoying, cold waft if I found myself leaning my arm on the armrest and gearstick gaiter.
Could the lack of an undertray be causing an updraft into the cabin perhaps?
Anyone else experiencing the phenomenon?

I get the same and i have an undertray, be very interested to see if this is a common problem

Strange 'cos I've found that Cindy also suffers from a 'Draughty transmission tunnel', I've found that this helps ameliorate the problem

HTH

Never heard of this issue before

Have you got the air system directing to the floor too or all to the upper vents?

Mine can feel cold in this weather in the footwell if all heat and air is sent to screen and face

I think David had been smoking something
I think the wind issue is where they welded the two cars together :poke: :P
Must be! Prob tack welded and not seam welded eh?

Or even soldered, you did check for the telltale signs didn't you Chris
You don't have a grommet or rubber bung missing or dislodged on the bulkhead, I can't say I've noticed it on mine.
