Drain holes

Sorry if this is a bit newbie but having been a long time convertible owner i know that clearing roof drains is a must. I have trawled the various Z4 forums and this seems to be the case for these cars too.

In the past I have always used a trombone snake to clear the drains and it has worked without fail and is dead easy, is this a tried and tested method on Z4's or am I breaking new ground if I try this?

Cheers

I used a flexible magnetic pick-up tool to clear mine and it only just fit. Its difficult to tell the size just from the photos

Before you start poking around have you poured water in the top to see if they are clear?
I did it with mine and the water pissed through no problem

This is true, and normally what I do also to test. Gentlely pouring water on the roof so it flows round at the bottom and down into the drains.
