Drain cleaning-

Hi all,i have done a search- i know its been discussed umpteen times but on my facelift zed the drain cover look different to the ones seen in the pics?-a few write-ups state they can be cleaned without removing the wheel and wheel arch cover,my cover goes under the car and is secured with them rivet fastenings.
I know i have had the zed a while now but i regularly check the drainage when i wash her but i would still like to be able to unscrew the crossed bottom plug if i could find/remove the cover,thanks.
 
The rubber plug just pulls out.It can be done with the wheel on ,it is easier to to do with the wheel off when you do it for the first time.
