Dragging sound when reversing in e86 coupe

Hi guys, I recently bought a e86 coupe and so far I’ve been very happy. However I have noticed after I drive for a little while, that if at some point I start to reverse it will occasionally make a dragging/ grinding noise. There is nothing that I can see hanging off of the car, so I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with this issue?
Thanks

Adjust handbrake.

What exactly do you mean by that?
Oh sorry, I missed a word out, how remiss of me. You wouldn't have had a cat in hell's chance of understanding my earlier post. Let me amend that this instant;
Adjust the handbrake.

Does it make the same noise when moving forward at slow speeds?

Yes but only for a second or two until it fades away. It’s constant when reversing, but doesn’t happen every time.
However since I made the post the brake pad light has come up, and there is considerably more brake dust around the front left wheel compared to the others. Going to get it checked out and see if the issue lies deeper then just a worn out pad.

Sam, if visibly more brake dust on one wheel, sound like a sticking calliper. If so not an expensive repair to replace whole unit. Hope you get sorted quickly and cheaply :thumbsup:

Agree with the above it does sound like a sticking calliper, which is an easy enough fix hopefully you get the issue sorted soon 👍
