I have ordered 19" 326 alloys for my new car which are similar to those fitted to the M, do they corrode (like the 108's) or are they ok?

Just wondered if they could do with another clear laquer coating?

Thanks

Hi Kryton,

The problems with the 108s was as a result of their split rim design and corrosion between the two metal joints. The 326s are a solid one piece construction so should not be effected. However saying that it would do no harm applying another coat of clear lacquer but I would want to ensure it's compatible with the original lacquer etc. Are they going on a new Zed or X5?

I thought the 326 alloys looked like Alpinas, not 108 or Z4M wheels.

Not had any lacquer problems on my 224Ms though.
