Thank you for sharing it. I enjoyed every minute of this. There are similar videos of an M and a Honda S2000, from a similar location.

Thank you for the kind words but i'm the first to admit that there are far better drivers out there than me. :oops:

As for the videos with the S2000, yeah that's me again. The Honda driver is a close friend. Amazing driver he is. Used to be too fast for me on twisty mountain roads, even with a "lowly" S2000.. He's still faster than me on the track though! I guess the track suits the lighter Honda better.
 
I do heel'n'toe while driving - it became a habit
although nowadays, while driving a more powerful car I dont use left foot braking as often as I did in Barchetta
but recently, after one day with a friend rally driver, I started practicing left foot braking to get the maximum from open differential

How do you guys heel toe in the Z4?, I find the accelerater pedal is too low to do effectively, not a problem in my other car.
 
you don't have to use heel and toe to do heel and toe (although it sounds funny..)
you can brake with inner part of your foot, and kick the gas pedal with the outer part - works allright for me :)
 
Sometimes if I'll brake slightly earlier to give me time for a quick blip of the throttle before downshifting. Not as slick as heel and toe shifting, but a rev match is better than just whacking into gear on the down shift and dumping the clutch....
