Doors - E85 to fit E86?

As the title really. Will an E85 door fit an E86? I've got a large dent in mine and paint removed (I won't go into how some w**ker has hit my car in a car park and driven off) so its probably easier to replace. I would use all my internals, glass, wing mirror, door card and handle etc but is the actual fitment the same? I've heard somewhere that they are slightly different, possibly something to do with the window alignment.

Basically there are loads of E85 doors on eBay but no coupe ones.

Iirc the door us the same but the glass is slightly different, have you tried looking on real OEM an see if the part is comman across both cars

According to RealOEM it looks like the same part number and same price, so you may be lucky but it's worth checking with BMW re cross fitting any parts that are different. Further checks on real OEM might give the answer

Thanks chaps. Annoyingly the door is mint apart from the damage. Damage looks like too much to repair without filler etc so would rather a replacement. Looks like I'll have a lot of gubbins to transfer over. Think I might wait until the summer is here to guarantee a dry day.
