Door won’t open

Hi and welcome,clean the mechanism of the door lock not the key hole part, side of door,toothbrush some general cleaner,re lube should sort it also clean and polish hook on body side .
Hope this makes sense

It could be other bigger issues as said above,but before spending any money give it a clean it worked for me.
 
How does the OP clean the mechanism if he can't open the door at all? At least that's my understanding of his problem...

Im guessing he can open it from the inside by using other door
He could pull handle then apply more force to push door
From the outside he could only apply force to the handle and more force pulling could cause more damage :thumbsup:
 
Well as he hasn't yet replied my guess is he can't open it from the inside either, his phone has died and because the police won't let anyone go to his lockup*, he'll be found in a few months, mummified in excess toilet rolls.

(* warning, some knowledge of other current threads is assumed :wink: )
