Door speaker

I've noticed that the n/s door speaker has started to rattle like mad especially on tracks with lots of base. The car is under warranty and I'm wondering if anyone else has had the same problem ? I am anticipating that the BMW dealership will blame my music choice when they see the library consists mainly if Down, Goatsnake, Black Sabbath etc :(

I had a passenger side door speaker blow. Was crackling under heavy base. Replaced under warranty with no issues.

Thank you, was hoping someone would say that

I had a driver side speaker blow but it was the footwell one, easy enough to get the cover off and replace without an adapter. If you're going to do it yourself there is guides on removing panels everywhere but for the doors you'll probably need an adapter which you can get on eBay.

Thanks, could be that one, not too sure, will let BMW sort it out

The speakers are supposed to be able to 'handle' max volume on anything you want to pump through them, I would think, otherwise they should install lower-powered amps or larger capacity speakers. Or have a limiter on the max volume, as with the car's max speed :)
