Door sill strip tidy up

My door sill strips were very badly scratched and looked crap, ebay search revealed there about £50 a pair second hand,sod that!! So It was out with the rattle cans for a quick tidy up
The BMW badge in the centre just pops out as individual letters, I sprayed these gloss black, the rest of the sill i resprayed grey ,only because I have some sterling grey in the garage it's a very silvery grey anyway . 3 coats of paint ,2 coats of lacquer pop the letters back in job done. looks 100% better IMHO total cost nothing.

They do get scuffed easily..

I also do that with the mats....:(........Use an old Costco card!
 
The detailing looks great.
Carbon wrap opportunity on the whole of the strip? Might look into that............

Very easy to remove they just pop off
Definitely OCD with the hoovering and yes you do with a credit card just a bit of fun really

This is something I need to do. You can actually pop the 'BMW' logo out too.

I have a spare set of sills here if anyone wants them, £25 posted.

Um, I can't wait until first light, I'm compelled to do my mats in "carbon fibre" pattern..... :rofl:
