Door sill covers (illuminated)

I have illuminated sill covers on my car which were on when I bought it, I didn't realise they were supposed to light up till recently, MINE DONT.
The wires are there but I haven't traced them to were they are supposed to be connected, does anyone else have these fitted and know where that might be?

Look at the price of them :o :o
Cant understand anyone paying that much for them cos they don't look anything special.

Well given there is an obvious demand, sell them and make some money!
 
They look cool when you open the door, innit! :lol:

The ford fiesta st ones are prone to failing. 2 mates in work with st's have had them replaced and the cars are not even 6 months old!
 
Russ, the BMW retrofit instructions for the sills can be found here, just scroll down the page a bit :

Aquazi also retrofitted them by feeding the wiring to the footwell lights, though I have not read the PDF above so not sure if that is how the BMW instructions say you should do them. Do a search on google for BMW Z4 illuminated sills, there's a couple of other links to threads on here too. Hope this helps :thumbsup:
