"Door open" sensors question

Hi all,

I discovered that my car turns on the wrong "door open" sensors while driving with an open door: specifically, if the driver door is open, the LCD shows the passenger door as open, and if the passenger door is open, the LCD shows the driver door as open. Is this something I could easily fix, e.g. maybe by inverting the plugs of the "door open" sensors somewhere, or it's a more complex operation?
