Door Open/Ajar Light On

Hi All,
Hopefully some of you have ran into a similar situation and have a fix:

My door open/ajar warning light is on in my 2007 BMW Z4. Not sure if there is an open circuit somewhere, but the light is more annoying than anything else.

Both doors can lock, either remotely or using the central console.
Convertible top goes up and down.
The trunk locks and unlocks without issue with the remote and unlock button in the cabin.
Alarm system engages.

Any help greatly appreciated.

First step for me would be be plug it in see if any codes appear to point you in the right direction.
Not heard of this problem previously.
