Door Moulding Protection

Hi,

Right, i've surfed and surfed...

Can't find a post on door protection. You know you open your door, slam, the edge grazes the concrete and you get a little mark on it :)

Anyone got this? Looking for something discrete, no reflectors etc, just slim plastic cover.

I'm not a fan of these things - just spoil the lines of a car IMO.

I've gone the opposite way and stuck a bit of carpet to my garage walls where the doors open. Obviously only good when you're parking in one spot though, unless you carpet all walls/trees/lampposts where you normally park...

My dad did fit stuff to my mum's car door edges - I believe he used binding combs you'd normally use for holding paper documents together. Reasonably slimline and available in a variety of colours :)
 
Already Have Wood for Wheels to park up to and carpet on walls :)

Worth a try :)
