I have a problem with the drivers door on the freeleeta I'm working on. It drops slightly on opening and I can see that the bottom hinge has movement between the upper and lower parts. Also, the hinge pin/bolt is sitting about 3mm out of the hinge but I cannot tighten it down any more.
I think I'm going to have to remove the hinge and either fix or replace it.
Does anyone know whether the mounting bolts go into captive (welded on) nuts inside the A-pillar and door, or do I need to dismantle all the trims and get a spanner on the back?
This is going to be a one-man operation, with the door supported on a jack, so I don't want to get stuck halfway through.
