Door handle issue after replacing Bowden cable

Hi,
Having had an issue with the drivers door not opening from the outside in hot weather I decided to replace the Bowden cable, but now it won't even work in the cold. The inner handle is fine and the lock works, but after looking at the handle teeth it looks like one may be missing.

Can I kindly ask if the handle in the picture looks normal please. Many thanks

Did you buy originals or eBay specials?

I bought the latter and initially they didn't work. I mucked about with them for ages eventually having to make a little spacer up to take out slack. Then, recently when the sun was on them they stopped working again until they cooled down. In the end, for about 2 groats more than the eBay ones, I bought originals and fitted them. Worked straight off.
