Door glass cocked over

So today's task, after i rewire some silent tweeters is to straighten the drivers door glass.
I did notice the glass stick up half an inch when fully down.
Try the reset first.

Might be applicable to anyone getting wet carpets.
Couple of years ago tried to adjust the quarter light after damp carpet behind seat.
All along i never thought it was the main glass!

Well think i found the problem.
This is the cross cable. Being at the bottom collects water inside and rots.
Must have been down to the last few strands before breaking.
So no point buying secondhand as probably all the same.
So ordered Autodoc £132, without the motor.

Although i have ordered new mechanism (did make a funny noise at the end) i'm wondering if i can save a few bob if i can make up new cable assembly.
Have in the past used bicycle cable and the brass bits with screws out of a 13amp plug.....

Tried fixing using Bowden cable.
No joy, the wires were mangled in the drive motor section.

Something strange though, as soon as i drive car off to work, steering wheel is off centre straight ahead and heavier turning right.
Only explanation is the body detection radar sensor in door is disconnected.
Must effect the steering angle. No weight right seat.
Part of the stability control?

Well bit of research, no. Just alarm sensor.
So something strange happened.

Today i'm going to fit the sensor to it's connector to see if it makes a difference and tape to the bare door.
See if effects or corrects the steering?
Also check tyre pressures.

So ordered Autodoc part for door, that's going back......
Ordered 2nd hand part for 40 quid complete unit.
Steering just tweaked tracking, fine now. Why it went off?

I fitted the Autodoc supplied Miraglio part, all working well.

Window glass closes as it should, gaps perfect.
First suspicions was the glass sticking up 3/4 of an inch when down.
Then see gaps when up.
Any damp carpets check glass closes properly.

Cancelled 2nd hand part, might be just as worn.

Now to fix boot lights not coming on........removed boot lock....yes wire broken again on left limit switch.
Doing more robust repair, with some good quality solder.
