Does anybody know what the difference is between the white and yellow door card clips on the back of the door card on an E85? I suspect the yellow ones may be slightly longer (there are only three on the hinge side of the card)? If so, I can't seem to find them to purchase. Can see plenty of the white ones. Anyone know the oem number for the yellow ones? Ta....

Looking up part numbers on realoem.com has been my last few weeks for my Z4 restoration

51417007479 seems to be the newer ones BMW are going with.
51417056298 seems to be used on the older I3 and mini clubman as well

I have used the amazon cheapo from china, might be my imagination, but I notice a rattle on shutting the door, but my card has been off more than a few times, and its good to have a few spare when your as heavy handed and impatient as me lol
I'm probably going to change these out for the yellow ones and replace the door card window rail clips to see if that solves it, but all these should be usable on the Z4 e85

I was wondering about that. I looked at realOEM again (a bit deeper this time) and if you need 9 clips per door card , 18 in total for both, and with the numbers shown in the spec there has to be a trick to placements

Ok so looking at the OE numbers both the yellow clips are 21.4mm long and the white clips are 20.3mm long
The other notable difference is 2 are coming with a soft material washer.
