Door bowden cable replacement

I've found a couple of threads showing how to get door cardsnoff and somebody repairing the cable but not guidesnon how to replace the full thing.

Does anybody have any guidance on how to change the cable in its entirety? I'm fairly confidentni can get the door card off and remove then pushed in end just not sure on how to remove the bike brake cable fitting end.
 
Oops. Put this in the wrong section. If a mod reads this could you move it to the E85/6 problems section?
 
Is it the one that goes to the inner or outer handle?

If it’s the outer, the bike brake cable esque one you refer to is a pull out affair. Can be a sod especially if you are doing it in situ

If you get the actuator out you’ll be able to see clearly how it goes
 
It's the outer handle. Do I need to take the actuator out? I was thinking I might need to get the handle off, but I was hoping not to have to take any of the mechanism out.
 
You don’t have to- you’ll feel the cable sitting in the clip on the actuator
