Both doors on my 2007 E85 are sticking out slightly at the back - not sitting flush with the rear quarterpanels. At the same time, I need to slam them a bit too hard to get them to close, and when opening, I need to pull on the handle quite a bit.
It's not a matter of stretched bowden cable in the door - I've just replaced that, the handle open in correct position, it's just the latch itself resisting the movement. If I push on the door and then pull on the handle, it opens lightly and smoothly. It seems to me like the rubber seal is pushing against the door way too hard. And I would like the door to close even further, so they are flush with the body.
Did anybody encounter a situation like this? Any solutions? I'm pretty sure there's no structural damage to the car btw., that's not it.
