So this guy works at Evans Halshaw seemed to know his cars owning 10+ previous bmw's. Buy's my old car giving me some story how Z4's ain't fetching good money to strike a good deal. To then spray the wheels grey and try and fetch more money than I even paid for it myself 6 months prior looking twice as good. Oh dear !!!

I'm glad I stripped all the parts off it to sell now and made most my money back only loosing £300 in total some people are funny but if it sells then profit is still profit........lol

You think he'd have at least closed the door in the pic so it doesn't look like it's hanging off!

£5k+ for a 2003 is a big ask....

Mike

Your ........... (insert car model) isn't selling right now hence the low offer I'm about to make. Usual tosh and so will it ever remain.

High spec

No sport seats, no sat nav, no decent standard wheels.

It says sat nav in the ad :?

Possibly has it in the aftermarket HU?

Mike

If so that's probably better than factory fit BMW nav which is pretty crap to be honest! I'm sure it was excellent when the Z came out but definitely showing its age now

Not sure I understand why you are asking people not to buy the car? Was it a bad example? If not then I don't have a problem with someone buying a car to sell it on for a profit, you were presumably happy to sell it at that price?

Yeah I just don't think he wants it to sell for more than he sold it for

I can't see what your gripe is,you were happy with the price you sold it for.He makes a small profit on the deal,so what.

He bought the car in July from gold thinking it was a quick flipper after perhaps doing the same a few times previously
He should have done his homework cause all I see for him is a few months stuck with the car just to get his money back :?
Those wheels looked 5hite when he bought it & spraying them aint gonna make them sit any better
9days to go with 3 "watchers" be lucky to even see his £4150 back ( + any other expenses )
Op , , you had the guy over :P

Don't see the problem here the only real issue is the OP has been made to look a mug. Cant see it selling given how appalling his advert is, its even worse than the ones Gold did which is some going. The new owner cant even spell (k)nob FFS! Can tell he works at a main dealer! He put this car up for sale the day after he bought it many weeks ago, this was pointed out to the OP in another thread. Why wait weeks to start crying about it now?! Pointless thread, yesterdays news.

So a few months back when you had the car for sale yourself, would you still be telling us not to buy it? Thrashed? Crashed? Bad service history? Tell us.

4 watchers now, not that I'm considering!

One will be Gold :D that car is going nowhere until it gets to at best £4500 & even then I doubt it would go
The car doesn't sit well in the pics at all , Evans Halshaw man must have had the sun in his eyes when he agreed the deal
I wouldn't have given £4150 for it even with decent wheels on

"New Alloy gear monkey short shift gear nob."

Joking aside doesn't actually seem that bad a deal at £5k if it has a new roof motor and spring replacement.

Roof motor was done even before Gold bought it so not exactly "new"
Current seller should maybe add how well the car handles on track days & throw in its Santa Pod pedigree to really set the sale on fire
