Donington Park Breakfast Meet 16-12-18

[ref]road warrior[/ref], Sorry, it's a bit late in the day. Think I'm gonna make it to the services for 9 but won't be able to stay long. @road warrior Shall I meet you somewhere on the 38 near yours and we can have a micro convoy??

Hi there!
Well from where I live in Burton I won't be going down the a38 , but I do cross the a42 junction 13 at Ashby Del LA zouch and I see there is a McDonald's on the roundabout somewhere I could meet you there @ 8:30 if you like, otherwise at the donington services. Let me know!

OK cool, would have gone the 42 anyway just presumed you might be nearer the 38. Make it 8:35 and you've got a deal  only 10mins or so to the services from there

Will bring my phone this time

I’ll come and join you all too, see you at 9am. I will have to chip off as I need to be somewhere at midday, I assume i can just head off whenever?

Does this mean I need to clean the car?!
tell you what. I won't If you don't, too bleeding cold to wash the car...

when i was 10 i went to my girlfreinds birthday party. (ahh) and i was totally humiliated by a cruel bit of entertainment by the father and ruined my best shirt as a by product, ( we were poor and lived in back to back houses officially designated as slum houses ) to date i'm the only child i ever saw in my life told to wear my school blazer at a holiday camp because that was the best thing i had to wear. i had thought such humiliation was in my past, until today. :|

Sorry if you felt that way today, no harm ment by any of us I'm sure but it's clear now that it went too far and for this I will say sorry.

it was only harmless fun but what you made will cause more damage than good so best get it removed from the car before it breaks those brackets.
thank you, it was removed before the roof went back down and the engine had cooled.

for 10 mins it was harmless fun, after 30 mins it was just unpleasant :!:

Sorry you took it the wrong way but you were joining in in the spirit of it and at no point did you complain. However again sorry if we upset you.

Apologies John, agree we all took it too far and I for one only really realised as you drove away. Sorry mate  I'll buy you a drink at the pub meet

It was a great mornin roady. I am really sorry that you ended up with the butt of the banter :| I personally was impressed with the effort you made with the strut brace. But Neil pointed a certain fact that tickled my sense of humor and couldn't help but piss myself. But like you say, it did go on a bit too long and i am so sorry bout that. Neil is a really top bloke and would do anything to help anybody. He certainly knows his stuff. So, i don't think he meant any harm as did none of us.

You are a top bloke mate with a sense of humor that would bring any party alive. And i don't like to say it but YOUR ZED IS THE DOGS!

Lookin forward to the Welsh hoon next year mate.

Cheers, tug

I’d also like to offer my apologies, it went too far. It was great to meet everyone, hopefully see you all out somewhere, someday!
