Was toying on painting mine red Each to their own i guess

Mine are painted black with BMW decals (as above) in white. Couple of coats of hammerite smooth, then stick the decals on and a few coats of laquer. Springs are painted silver.

Look great to me.... im sure theres a pic in another thread of exactly how mine look as someone else has the same black/white colour combo.

I actually like the look of red on Zeds that have the red interior, considering it for mine but wouldn't on the OP's Sterling with black interior.

I like the idea of red calipers but my neighbour has a red F430 with red calipers...she would look inferior!

There is nothing wrong or 'chavvy' about painting the calipers red on a Z4. I've done mine and it's a 3.0 260bhp classy BMW, not a 1.2 60bhp Corsa with a combat kit. I only did them red though to match my red interior. And they look great:



Back to Paddy, i reckon yours would look best black

Still open for options? How about gun-metal, anthracite, or some other shade between silver and black? Not too in-y'er-face, but not stock either...
